URUHA IS ALIVE?? Kagurabachi Chapter 81 Spoilers!

In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, Hakuri displays his revived Sorcery to stop some Kamunabi traitors without killing them.

Kagurabachi Chapter 81 is titled, “Main Force”

This chapter has 19 pages. 

Editor’s note: “The Kamunabi employees are being ravaged by pine-tree sorcery..!“

The chapter begins with the Blonde Bearded Kamunabi leader, whose name is Izaru, arriving at the barrier chamber, with the Barrier Keepers saying they are currently investigating how Kamunabi employees’ bodies are exploding.

The Barrier Keepers also confirm the Shinuchi is still safe for now.

Izaru is upset that the Hishaku are plotting to make the Kamunabi collapse from within their own ranks and worries that there is more to come.

Izaru lists the four priorities of the Kamunabi right now: the “core barrier structure” to protect Headquarters, the Shinuchi, the Sword Saint, and one other thing.

Which leads us back to Hakuri, who keeps pumping himself up, saying he is part of the main force repeatedly.

As he climbs down some stairs, Hakuri calls to a Kamunabi member, who identifies himself as Kashima, a direct subordinate of Kudo, the Kamunabi leader with the gas mask who sacrificed himself to save Hakuri, and a captain-ranked member.

Kashima offers to escort Hakuri and asks where Kudo is but of course, given last chapter’s events, Hakuri is skeptical.

Then we hear the announcement that Pine Sorcery bursted out of the bodies of four Kamunabi employees and that those responsible, the Hishaku, are within their premises.

Hakuri tells Kashima that Kudo protected him.

We learn about how the Pine Sorcery was embedded into the four traitors.

Seeds were planted within their bodies beforehand and the activation requirement is the death of those who held the seeds.

This type of Sorcery is something the hosts (the Kamunabi traitors) are always aware of and could have resisted it but perhaps a weakness was exploited, which happens to be the Hishaku taking their families hostage.

The announcement also reveals that they have confirmed that there are as many as 50 seeds within Kamunabi headquarters.

Kashima says that there are 500 personnel in the Kamunabi Headquarters, meaning 1 in 10 employees have the seeds and are aware of it.

The announcer tells the Kamunabi that while they look for the identified locations of the seeds, the employees are to keep a safe distance from each other aside from Hakuri Sazanami.

Kashima orders everyone to keep their distance as any suspicious movement will be dealt with by Kashima personally.

Suddenly, Kudo appears behind Hakuri but Kashima enforces the rule that there are no exceptions to the orders to keep distance, even for a leader like Kudo.

Kudo insists on accompanying Hakuri as he needs to be protected while reaching the Shinuchi.

Kashima’s caution is quite warranted as this point as we cannot say who is or is not a traitor.

Hakuri voices for Kudo but Kashima insists on there being no exceptions and tells Hakuri to hurry and get the Shinuchi.

Kudo insists on going whether Kashima likes it or not but Kashima tells him to stop right now.

Suddenly, a girl appears holding two daggers that she places on the floor.

Kashima tells everyone to get down but it is too late as two heads fly off.

Fortunately, Kashima blocks the blow.

Pine Tree Sorcery appears from the decapitated bodies.

Hakuri activates Isou to destroy the branches.

Hakuri opens his eyes and is shocked to see Kudo hold Kashima hostage.

With the dagger-wielding girl next to him, Kudo shapeshifts into a blonde-haired Sorcerer, revealing that his Innate Sorcery is Shapeshifting and confirms that Kudo did die protecting Hakuri while mentally noting that this was a meaningless act.

The Copy guy tells the girl that their quota has been reached and that the southwest has been taken care of and to not kill Hakuri.

They will likely use him to get the Shinuchi.

Water ripples as the Barrier Keepers sense the number of dead Kamunabi being used.

Izaru notices two types of damage to the barrier’s integrity.

The first kind are those with Pine Sorcery seeds inside them and Izaru hypothesizes that their families have been taken hostage but only those within the Kamunabi would know 

The second kind are people leaking information to the Hishaku, which allows them to kidnap Kamunabi family members.

Suddenly, it is confirmed that every part of Kamunabi Headquarters has now been infiltrated.

Annoyed by the worrying Barrier Keepers, Izaru tells them to keep quiet and identify those acting on their own.

Kashima has been killed by the Copy Sorcerer and so Hakuri runs off.

However, Hakuri has finally reached his limit.

Suddenly, in front of Hakuri is Uruha.

But Uruha died in Chapter 58: “Reunion” to Samura’s blade.

This is strange.

Nonetheless, Hakuri accepts Uruha’s aid as the latter takes on the Copy guy with White Iai Purity Style.
