Shishiba BETRAYS the JAA! Sakamoto Days Chapter 209 Spoilers!

In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, Natsuki Seba prepares a countermeasure to stop Slur’s plans.

Days 209 is titled, “Ideal World”

Day One of the “New Legal Firearms Possession Act”.

As a debtor is about to kill someone, he is frozen by Shin’s telepathy, who destroys the guns while Boiler and Kindaka confiscate the other firearms.

Seems like Sakamoto Store is doing something about the anarchy as last chapter showed.

The police are unable to act because they are connected to the JAA as well.

Suddenly, they are stopped by JAA agents, who are enjoying the privilege of X’s new JAA that lets assassins come out in the open and be more free.

Shin tells them that is no excuse to pit innocent people against each other and the group easily beat them.

While many assassins are enjoying this, Shin recalls Shishiba’s thoughts, that he will not side with X and was waiting for him to come out, so he will be the one to take him down.

We return to the scene from Chapter 207: “The New JAA” when Kei Uzuki declares the foundation of the new JAA.

Shishiba wonders if Takamura is inside Kei Uzuki.

In a flashback, Shishiba eats with a disguised Nagumo, which wore off immediately, and confirmed Uzuki’s split personality.

With this information, Shishiba realizes he will have a tough time against Uzuki and in the present, tells Osaragi to stay out of it.

While Osaragi hates X’s Organization as she finds them annoying, Shishiba says the ideal world for assassins is better for Osaragi.

A worried Osaragi asks if by parting ways, the two will become enemies but Shishiba requests for her to go easy on him.

At least having Osaragi on their side will protect her and weaken X at the same time.

Shishiba reflects on his career and thinks this will be the end for him and that is for the better as he is tired of these loathsome jobs.

Shishiba meets with Uzuki alone and immediately attacks him but Uzuki locks the first strike with his sword hilt.

Knowing how strong Uzuki is, Shishiba grabs his shirt with his left hammer to bring him closer but before he could finish Uzuki off, Oki lunges with his halberd and Torres points a gun at him.

Shishiba was not lucky as Oki notes that he had a suspicion the moment he saw Yotsumura was still alive.

Torres fires his sandblasters at Shishiba, pushing him to a wall but Shishiba reaches for Oki, who asks for the former’s last words.

In a nice panel showing the stained-glass window behind Oki, Shishiba tells him that he is the lowest of the low.

Before Shishiba gets finished off, Osaragi comes to his rescue, telling Shishiba that living with people she cannot stand is not her ideal world.

The two rebels within the new JAA prepare for a life or death battle.

Sakamoto Days Chapter 210 will be released on April 20, 2025.
