Will Samura Die? Kagurabachi Chapter 107 Spoilers!
While Chihiro has once again opened Enten’s True Realm to survive Magatsumi, Samura seems to be nearing death’s door from his severe wounds.
In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, Soga Akemura reveals to Chihiro he is the latter’s uncle and unleashes Magatsumi’s terrifying power.
Kagurabachi Chapter 107 is titled, “This Moment”
This chapter has 19 pages.

The chapter begins where we left off as Magatsumi absorbs the life around Soga.
The narration explains that when the Enchanted Blade’s power is manifested when the user burns their lives, the Spirit Energy is manifested in extreme quantities, revealing a black color but also a great brilliance.
Essentially, it is like how in One Piece, Haki turns a sword black over the years of use.
But Magatsumi breaks the rules.
Since Magatsumi’s power is to absorb life itself and that life is used up by the user, Magatsumi will always release a stream of black and Spirit Energy of dense potency.
The Magatsumi just desires to devour everything in its path without end, hence why its True Realm, the Malediction, wiped out all 200,000 Shokoku islanders at the end of the Seitei War 18 years ago.
Chihiro is overwhelmed by this power as he realizes that without Samura’s Suzaku, he would have his life force drained too, just like the surrounding trees.
Soga remarks there is no one within 250 meters, all thanks to Shiba’s Teleportation prowess, hence that range becomes their battlefield and that if he steps out of this ring, Samura should slice his belly open and commit seppuku.
Soga activates “Centipede”, which releases a barrage of its black projectiles against the pair in high speed.
Chihiro remarks he cannot take anymore of Soga’s attacks and Soga goes after Samura directly.
Cutting his right hand.
After Soga flings Samura to a building with a kick, Samura notes that since Magatsumi constantly drains the life force of everything around it, Samura included, his Suzaku is only able to defend Samura from the life drain but not heal his injuries, such as his missing hand.
But Samura remarks something interesting: while the other five Enchanted Blade users were not enough to take down Soga (in the flashback from Chapter 86: “Quickening”)
Samura is at his limit and as he reaches for Tobimune, we see his body is slowly covered in vines.
Samura remarks that he cannot kill Soga or else he would kill the other Enchanted Blade users, including himself and Chihiro.
Right now, his Suzaku is preventing fatal wounds.
However, right now, Samura has confirmed that Soga has used both Butterfly and Centipede, which have a long recharge time, so this is his one moment to strike.
Yet with one slash, Soga slices through a whole building and leaves a massive gash on Samura’s chest, stating that his Shinuchi was enough to kill 200,000 people and in spite of Samura’s growing skills as a master swordsman, as long as Soga has the Shinuchi, victory is impossible even for Samura.
Soga intends to erase the country of its political filth.
He spots Chihiro moving so he freezes him with Spider, thinking he cannot resist now that Samura’s Suzaku flames have run out.
But Chihiro manages to power through and break the hold of this attack, stating that he will not allow Soga to kill anymore people.
Through his battle with Samura, Chihiro has awakened Enten’s True Realm.
Nishiki, the rainbow-colored goldfish cloak that improves Chihiro’s bodily movements and physical strikes, is able to counter Magatsumi’s life drain.
The chapter ends with a spread of their clash, with Chihiro being able to come in close proximity without suffering Magatsumi’s life drain as now Enten is committed to fulfilling its mission to destroy the Shinuchi.

Kagurabachi is on break for the holidays like all of Weekly Shonen Jump and will be released on January 5, 2026.
