Will Nagi change if he takes Buratsuta’s offer? Is this going to improve his skills and character arc or bring him even greater despair?

BLUE LOCK © 2018 by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and Nomura Yuusuke/KODANSHA.

In the previous Blue Lock chapter, Ego sends the Top 23 players of Blue Lock to train in unusual ways before the U-20 World Cup

Blue Lock Chapter 306 is titled, “Hello”

This chapter has 20 pages.

The chapter begins with Nagi back in school as his classmates talk about playing Mario Kart in the clubroom.

Nagi leaves school like normal and sees the bike parking area.

As he rides off home, Nagi wonders if this is how he will die, living out this same life.

The silent Nagi must have thought of this throughout the weeks.

As he rides off faster, he sees the large walls of Blue Lock Japan after wishing to meet his old passionate self again.

He knocks on the gates, asking to be let in to get another chance at joining Blue Lock.

No one responds.

This may not even be the first time Nagi has done this.

Nagi promises to return and heads back.

He returns, this time setting up a tent to wait for a response.

We see his routine, day and night.

He finds a beetle, eats some spicy and not so well-made curry, and knocks on the gate.

Did he skip school or is this the weekend?

Nagi wonders if there is another entrance until he realizes he still has contacts from Blue Lock and attempts to call Ego.

Nagi attempts to get one of the Blue Lock survivors and thinks Rin is the easiest to talk to, maybe even Barou.

But Nagi remembers Reo and tries him.

Nagi is met with disappointment as it seems he was blocked, as Reo is no longer accepting messages from him.

Seriously, Pride Month started last week and these two are on their breakup stage.

Suddenly, Nagi hears Anri’s voice, warning Nagi to leave as he is trespassing on private property and that he is an outsider no longer affiliated with Blue Lock.

Wow, even the nice lady is no longer nice to Nagi.

The rain pours as Nagi begins crying in front of the gate, losing all hope of ever returning.

Nagi talks to himself, saying that he should give up and relying on Reo again is disgusting.

Geez

Angered by his situation, Nagi throws his phone and all his stuff gets thrown along with it.

We finally made Nagi mad and we even see him punch the gate to the point his fists bleed, angry that he has not changed like the others.

Time only stopped for him while everyone else moved on.

The chapter ends when Buratsuta appears behind Nagi, saying hello to him.

As we discussed a few times, the covers for Episode Nagi Volume 7 and Blue Lock 34 were released at the same time, with Chapter 303: “Blue Lock Japan” showing us why and being the last chapter of Volume 34.

And we now see this connection bear fruit.

Will Nagi accept Buratsuta’s offer?

Editor’s note: “Approaching the ultimate peak is this man, the JFU chairman! What he offers…is it the ultimate strategy, or the temptation of the devil…?”

Next chapter preview: “To get to know the world’s soccer, Isagi goes to Barcelona, Spain! A new encounter awaits!”

“Next issue will have a color cover! Look forward to it!!”

Blue Lock Chapter 307 is titled “Bunny” and will be released on June 18, 2025 with a color lead page.
