Buratsuta Wants NAGI BACK! NAGI’S RETURN IS GUARANTEED! BLUE LOCK CHAPTER 303 SPOILERS!

We told you Nagi is bound to return. Blue Lock just unveiled its big twist, so how will it pay off?

BLUE LOCK © 2018 by Kaneshiro Muneyuki and Nomura Yuusuke/KODANSHA.

In the previous Blue Lock chapter, Nagi continues normal schooling but is sad and broken over losing Blue Lock.

Blue Lock Chapter 303 is titled, “Blue Lock Japan”

The chapter begins with Hirotoshi Buratsuta, the chairman of the Japan Football Union, running and sliding excitedly in his office.

The slide resembles a knee slide someone does to celebrate the scoring of a goal.

If you recall, Volume 34, which is set for release on June 17, 2025, has him on the cover, wearing medals, with one skull medal resembling Nagi’s motif.

More on that later.

Buratsuta is excited because of the massive success of Blue Lock TV.

Ego walks in.

Buratsuta tells him he’s displeased with Nagi’s elimination and orders Ego to bring him back.

This is the twist we talked about because we got two covers revealed on the same day, Volume 7 of Episode Nagi together with Volume 34, which had Buratsuta on it,

We also discussed this in-depth in our Nagi Elimination video from weeks ago.

Blue Lock has built up the new journey for Nagi ever since Chapter 297: “To the Future”, where Isagi breaksdown the formula to his fire, a concept so close to Nagi’s character journey, and we see Nagi’s decision to grow independently from Reo.

Why else does Nagi’s actual departure take place in Chapter 300: “Innocent”, if not to set up this crucial stage in Nagi’s growth from ZERO to HERO?

Nagi needed to fail to find a new fire, to get out of his comfort zone and satisfaction, and take the risk of growth.

Later, we see a press conference with a lot of cameras.

Anri is speaking and behind her, starting from her left are Aiku and Rin, and to her right are Isagi and Sendou.

Anri talks about the upcoming U20 World Cup that will be hosted In Japanand how 64 Countries are Participating as well as the New Generation 11.

In an epic double page, we See the world (globe) with bold text in the middle  “U-20 WORLD CUP while 11 flags are scattered around it.

We see Loki and Kaiser on that same panel, showing the international character of the chosen Blue Lock Top 23 team.

They stand together with 11 body outlines with the words “New Generation World 11” on it.

Ego opposes Buratsuta and says that he’s the “God” of this project. and his only goal is to bring Japan to victory in the U-20 World Cup.

Buratsuta tells him that he’s fired if he fails To bring Nagi back.

Would Ego choose his…ego and lose his job so that Nagi, a satisfied failure, does not return or will this mean that Nagi’s journey will be taking the predictable route where he will return, as if nothing happened?

We have said that Nagi might have to go through a football club in school to find fire but given that we are nearing the U-20 World Cup, that may not look as feasible, especially with someone as powerful as Buratsuta wanting Nagi back ASAP.

At The Conference. Isagi speaks to the audience as the representative of Blue Lock and says that they’re gonna win The U-20 World Cup in a cool double spread as well.

The chapter ends with Nagi playing games at the arcade and we see his eyes lacking pupils and looking on sadly, empty.

Blue Lock Chapter 304 will be released on May 28, 2025.
