We Now Have an Official Voice for Shanks’ Brother
After 7 years since his previous One Piece role, Kenjiro Tsuda returns to voice Shanks’ twin brother, Figarland Shamrock
On November 2, 2025, in the preview of Volume 113 of One Piece, we finally get the voice for Figarland Shamrock, Shanks’ older twin brother and it is none other than Kenjiro Tsuda.
Tsuda has previously played a part in the One Piece anime as Yonji, Sanji’s younger quadruplet brother.
This is quite a coincidence given that Tsuda has now voiced two “evil siblings” that happened to be part of a set and belong to a corrupt nobility.
Tsuda is known for his low, smooth, alluring voice, often for serious or villainous characters and is most famous for voicing Seto Kaiba (Yu-Gi-Oh!), the eponymous househand from Way of the Househusband, Silver Fullbulster (Fairy Tail), OVerhaul (My Hero Academia), Joker (Fire Force), Jigen (Boruto: Naruto Next Generations), Nanami Kento (Jujutsu Kaisen) and Kishibe (Chainsaw Man).
