Voice Actor Of Oshi No Ko’s Ai Hoshino Sings A New Cover Of “Idol” By YOASOBI

The official YouTube channel of Oshi No Ko uploaded a special music video, on Feb 2, 2024, wherein Rie Takahashi, the voice actor of Ai Hoshino, sings the opening theme song “Idol” by YOASOBI in a new cover.

Takahashi adorned the dress of Ai in the music video and performed like a real-life idol would. It truly felt like Ai was there, speaking volumes of the voice actor’s talent as she stepped into the shoes of the fan favorite character.

About Oshi No Ko:

Oshi no Ko is a Japanese manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020, with its chapters collected in thirteen tankōbon volumes as of November 2023.

Between April and June 2023, Doga Kobo produced the first season, consisting of eleven episodes. In 2024, a second season is scheduled to premiere.
