One Piece is hailed by many as one of the finest stories of modern times, and yet, even it isn’t without its fair share of criticism. But this time, it’s much more serious the “Is Yamato male or female?” debates that has been going on recently.
Series creator Eiichiro Oda is accused of sexualizing a minor once again as he revealed the TRUE AGE of Jewelry Bonney, also known as the “Big Eater” to be actually 12 years!
When Bonney was first introduced in the story, she was supposed to be about 22 years old. This age was discussed in Eichiiro Oda’s SBS segment in the manga. After a two-year gap, her estimated age was raised to 24.
However, One Piece chapter 1098 changed all that by providing additional information on Ginny, Kuma, and Bonney through Bonney’s backstory. Bonney is revealed to be Ginny’s offspring from an arranged marriage to a Celestial Dragon. Kuma adopted Bonney as his own after Ginny passed away from a rare sickness.
Apparently, Bonney has the ability to change the aging process of objects or people, including herself, through her Devil Fruit, the Toshi Toshi no Mi (Age-Age Fruit).
Oda foreshadowed her TRUE FORM when she saved Zoro in an earlier chapter.
Oda's foreshadowing is insane 😭
– When Bonney appeared for the first time in the whole story, a Celestial Dragon forcibly took a woman to be his wife and took her to the holy land 🥶

However, this revelation got Oda under the radar once again, as he’s accused of sexualizing a 12-year-old in her old form. This is kinda complicated, in my opinion, but it seems for now, Oda isn’t beating the “pedophile” allegations. And the fact that he once worked as an assistant to the infamous mangaka of Rurouni Kenshin, Nobuhiro Watsuki, doesn’t make matters any better.
The one piece fandom is in turmoil.
Niggas are being exposed for being Pedo’s, Leakers are arguing, Dragon’s stocks are in jeopardy, Ginny is dead, Kuma keeps suffering, Oda isn’t beating the allegations and his art is dropping.

Eiichiro Oda might be the next Watsuki
Because this is definitely not the way to draw a 12yr old 💀 pic.twitter.com/Q7diooLLFI
