My Hero Academia’s Final Season Is Going to Be Cooking Some of its Best Animation!
The My Hero Academia anime promises to go out with a bang, with the band for its first opening gracing us one last time.

On June 16, 2025, at 5:30 PM JST, we got a teaser trailer for the final season of My Hero Academia that is set to premiere on October 4, 2025.
Now on August 17, 2025, we get a more comprehensive trailer of the final events of the series as we see Shigaraki’s Decay destroy his surroundings and Deku squaring off against him.
Later, on September 10, 2025, we get more footage, including “The Revo”, Season 8’s opening by Porno Graffitti, who performed the first opening of the series.
In the newest trailer, we see flashbacks to the previous seasons, to “The Day” by Porno Graffiti, and then transition to new scenes from Season 8 with the band’s new song as we see All Might fighting a young All for One, who is using different Quirks, including the Glowing Baby’s Luminescence Quirk while the whole world watches, including a scene of Kota holding Eri’s hand.
There is no confirmed episode count for the series, however Season 7 ended off in Chapter 400, with 30 chapters and 2 extra chapters worth of content left.
