My Hero Academia Volume 42 Racks Up INSANE NUMBERS
My Hero Academia’s final volume reached one million sales, making it one of the best-selling individual volumes in 2024.
The “My Hero Academia” manga may be over but it continues to be quite a Shonen Jump hit.
On December 11, 2024, after only one week on release, Volume 42 of My Hero Academia has reached 1 million copies sold.

Considering the Oricon rankings released last month, this might place My Hero Academia Volume 42 at 8th place, replacing Jujutsu Kaisen Volume 28.
Due to the massive success, the volume was quickly reprinted after release to be available at stores on Christmas Day, December 25, 2024.
The final volume contains a new 38-paged epilogue chapter and numerous illustrations.
Volume 42 was released on December 3, 2024, just 4 months after the release of the final chapter.
My Hero Academia Season 8, the Final Season, will premiere in 2025.
