Latest Choujin X Volume Cover Features Fan Favorite Girl
Choujin X’s new volume finally gives a spotlight to an old but popular antagonist.
On October 28, 2025, Choujin X reveals the cover for its 14th volume, featuring Nari Tsumuji.
She was formerly a mercenary working for Noh Mask (Batista Hoshi) to go after Tokio before being captured by Yamato Mori and made into a spy by Ichiro Sato.
On the cover, we see her stick out her snake tongue and a white snake slithers next to her.
Notably, Nari is not at all featured in this volume
This volume covers Chapter 65: “Happy Ending” to Chapter 67: “Destroy the Throne” for a total of 245 pages, sharing length with Volume 10 (Chapters 50-52), which also features a female villain, Yubiko.
The pattern established beginning with Volume 13 seems to be that of villains who have switched sides, as Batista has chosen last minute to sacrifice himself to stop the Nue Chimera within this volume itself.
Who will be the cover person for Volume 15?
Choujin X is the latest manga written and illustrated by Sui Ishida.
Ishida previously wrote Tokyo Ghoul and its sequel Tokyo Ghoul:re from 2011 to 2018.
Since May 10, 2021, Choujin X has been released online at Tonari no Young Jump in a biweekly schedule and published physically in Weekly Young Jump.
As of August 19, 2025, Choujin X has sold over 2.2 million copies worldwide.
