Kagurabachi Anime’s Latest Sheets Hint at Where Season 1 Ends
Kagurabachi’s character design sheets are a solid hint towards how far Season 1 will go and this is good news for the fandom.
On August 18, 2026, we got a preview of Togo Shiba’s design sheet, showing his various expressions.
It was announced on June 26th that Togo Shiba would be voiced by Katsuyuki Konishi, who is famous for voicing Kamina (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann), Tengen Uzui (Demon Slayer), Enjin (Gachiakuta), Diavolo (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure) and more.
Fans note that this particular expression comes from Chapter 51: “Samura”, where we saw a flashback of Seiichi Samura meeting young Chihiro 4 years ago.
This means the season could end at Chapter 60, which is a fitting way to conclude a major turning point as we see Chihiro revived, joining the Masumi, and moving to find Iori Samura, all the while ending in an iconic elevator shot with him in a suit.
Meaning the anime season could last 22 to 24 episodes.
This could also mean Season 2 would be paced close enough to complete the long Sword Bearer Assassination Arc at Chapter 112.
