Jujutsu Kaisen Is Officially Canon In The DC Universe!
It was confirmed that Miles Morales watched Jujutsu Kaisen and imitated Yuji’s Manji Kick while fighting against a villain.
The popularity of Jujutsu Kaisen continues to increase even further, ever since it was announced to hold the record of being the world’s most popular anime.
But now, it has broken the walls of anime and manga and has entered the American comic book industry, particularly DC Comics!
In issue #113 of the Nightwing comic, we see our boy Yuji Itadori sneaking away a pizza from the restaurant “Marv & George’s Pizza hub”, which is said to be the best restaurant in Bludhaven.

However, this is NOT the first time American comics have referenced Jujutsu Kaisen in their material.
Back in 2022, in a Spider-Man comic book, it was confirmed that Miles Morales watched Jujutsu Kaisen and imitated Yuji’s Manji Kick while fighting against a villain.

Anime and manga references in American comics have been a thing for a long time. First it was Pokemon, then Dragon Ball Z, Naruto and now Jujutsu Kaisen. It’s amazing considering how insanely popular the series has become, despite being under 300 chapters.

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Gege Akutami.
It has been serialized in Shueisha’s shōnen manga magazine, Weekly Shōnen Jump, since March 2018, with its chapters collected and published in 26 tankōbon volumes as of April 2024.
Studio MAPPA brought the world of JJK into anime by airing 24 episodes of season 1 from October 2020 to March 2021 and a second season that premiered in July 2023. A sequel covering the “Culling Game” arc has been announced.
