Japanese Presecutors Decide To Not Prosecute A 50 -Year-Old For Assualt Over Oshi No Ko Spoilers
The 50-year-old man kicked the subordinate in the waist.
On June 4, the prosecutor decided not to prosecute a 50-year-old man for assaulting his subordinate over Oshi No Ko spoilers.
The decision not to prosecute was made on June 3; however, no reason behind this decision has been shared by the authority.
As reported in May, a male employee of the Kyoto district legal affairs bureau, aged 50, became furious with one of his subordinates during a casual conversation outside working hours.
During the conversation, the subordinate shared a spoiler for the popular Oshi No Ko manga, which made the male employee in question angry as he grabbed the subordinate by the collar and kicked him in the waist.
This led the Kyoto Prefectural Police Uji station to send documents to prosecutors in April.
About Oshi No Ko:
Oshi no Ko is a Japanese manga series written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari.
It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump since April 2020, with its chapters collected in thirteen tankōbon volumes as of November 2023.
Between April and June 2023, Doga Kobo produced the first season, consisting of eleven episodes. In 2024, a second season is scheduled to premiere.
