Gachiakuta Returns From 3 Month Hiatus
After 3 months, Gachiakuta will make its return on a surprisingly auspicious date.
On October 15, 2026, Kei Urana, author of Gachiakuta, has announced on her Instagram and Twitter page that the second half of Chapter 173: “Forgot Something?” will be released on November 11, 2026 or 11.11.26.
This is further supported by a Twitter post from Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine.
Urana originally planned to make an update by the middle of October.
This has been Gachiakuta’s longest-recorded hiatus in its 4-year history, beginning with Chapter 173’s release on August 5th, meaning the hiatus lasts for 3 months and 1 week and this is only to continue a half-chapter release.
With this chapter completed, Gachiakuta will have 14 chapters released for 2026, with only 6-7 weeks of 2026 remaining, still making 2026 Gachiakuta’s slowest year.
