Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Reveals A New Trailer For Its New DLC “Future Saga Chapter 1”
The first chapter of the Future Saga DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to release on May 24, 2024.
Bandai Namco’s official YouTube channel uploaded a new trailer for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 on May 22, 2024, for its newest DLC, “Future Saga Chapter 1” which introduces extra missions, parallel quests, and new characters like Android 18 (DB Super), Videl (DB Super), Vegeta (Super Saiyan God) Ultra Supervillain, Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rose) Ultra Supervillain, and Broly (Restrained).
The trailer also previews the free Update 18, featuring new costumes, seven new raid quests, and other updates.
The first chapter of the Future Saga DLC for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is set to release on May 24, 2024.
Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a series of fighting games based on the Dragon Ball series developed by Dimps, who previously developed the Budokai series.
However, the gameplay is more akin to Spike’s (Spike Chunsoft) later Budokai Tenkaichi series. The Xenoverse series is inspired by and incorporates elements from Dragon Ball Online.
The first Xenoverse game was released in early 2015 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, with the sequel following in late 2016.
About Dragon Ball
Dragon Ball is a manga series by Akira Toriyama. It first began its serialisation in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 1984. The manga was later adapted into a multitude of animated series, movies, and games.
The franchise consists of five different anime series, about 21 animated movies, and around 10 games spanning various platforms, from Famicon to Playstation and Xbox.
Synopsis of the Dragon Ball anime:
Goku Son is a young boy who lives in the woods all alone—that is until a girl named Bulma runs into him in her search for a set of magical objects called the “Dragon Balls.”
Since the artefacts are said to grant one wish to whoever collects all seven, Bulma hopes to gather them and wish for a perfect boyfriend.
Goku happens to be in possession of a dragon ball, but unfortunately for Bulma, he refuses to part ways with it, so she makes him a deal: he can tag along on her journey if he lets her borrow the dragon ball’s power.
With that, the two set off on the journey of a lifetime.
