Dandadan Second Movie To Be Released in Asia and Europe Ahead of Season 2
Dandadan will be releasing its second movie to set up its second season.
Dandadan Season 2’s first three episodes are set to be released in theaters outside of Japan as a movie titled, “Dandadan: Evil Eye” starting on May 30 in Asia, and on June 6 in North America and June 7 in Europe.
Muse Asia has acquired the license for the movie and screen the theatrical premiere of the movie to Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macao, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, and India beginning on May 30.
Alongside the first three episodes, the movie features an exclusive interview with co-directors Fuga Yamashiro and Abel Gongora.
Gongora previously worked as the director and storyboarder of Opening 1: Otonoke but has since been promoted series director, joining Yamashiro in the process of leading the adaptation.
Mutsumi Tamura joins the cast as Evil Eye (Jashi).
The first three episodes of Dandadan will adapt the remaining chapters of the Cursed House Arc (Chapters 28 to 50).
The full season will premiere on July 3, 2025.
