Dandadan Volume 26 Features Mysterious Baddie
Okarun continually transforms into his present Oni form in the background of Dandadan’s latest volume, which features the culprit responsible, Count Saint-Germain’s lead baddie, Shinobi or Basho.
On October 31, 2026, we got the volume covers for Shonen Jump Plus, notably Dandadan, Spy x Family and Chained Soldier, set for November 4th.
Dandadan Volume 26’s cover features Okarun from behind, being the lead of the previous volume released on September 4th, with Shinobi or Basho in the lead.
In the previous cover, he was holding the Oni Club and now we see Okarun covered in blood markings while Basho is in the lead
Basho is Count Saint-Germain’s direct human subordinate whose supernatural powers of Shapeshifting and Subconscious Walking have been responsible for most of the mischief in the Six Curses Arc, namely by tricking Momo Ayase to relinquish her powers while the masked priests were exorcising her pygmy-size Fairy Tale curse and doing the same against Unji Zuma.
The cover is also tied to Okarun’s oni transformation because Basho was the one who gave Okarun the Oni Club in the first place while disguised as Manjiro, which triggered Okarun’s transformation into an oni in the recent chapters.
This volume is comprised of Chapter 220: “Let’s Treat Those Wounds” to Chapter 228: “The Old Timers”.
As of June 1, 2026, Dandadan has sold over 14 million copies.
