Choujin X Reaches 2.45 Million Copies After 5 Years
Choujin X has sold nearly 2.5 million in less than 5 years with 15 volumes.
On February 19, 2026, Choujin X officially releases Volume 15
With this volume release is confirmation that Choujin X has sold 2.45 million copies across 15 volumes after 5 years.
Volume 15 is 196 pages long and covers Chapter 68: “A Cloud Beyond the Windowpane” (three parts, 107 pages) and Chapter 69: “The Witch” (two parts, 87 pages)
Previously on August 19, 2025, Choujin X sold 2.2 million, meaning that 250,000 copies were added within the span of 6 months.
While sales have been slower than hits like Kagurabachi, which has reached 3 million in only 2 years, Choujin X still maintains its hold and could reach that number soon or even more if an anime is ever announced.
Choujin X is the latest manga written and illustrated by Sui Ishida.
Ishida previously wrote Tokyo Ghoul and its sequel Tokyo Ghoul:re from 2011 to 2018.
Since May 10, 2021, Choujin X has been released online at Tonari no Young Jump in a biweekly schedule and published physically in Weekly Young Jump.
Choujin X is currently on a two-month long hiatus, likely for Sui Ishida to prepare the new arc.
