Boruto Reaches a 10 Million Total Japan Only Sales After Nearly 10 Years
Boruto’s latest sales record proves that the sequel is going strong and relevant after less than 10 years.

On October 2, 2025, it was revealed that Boruto as a whole has sold 10 Million copies, both in physical and digital form.
The original Boruto series ran from May 9, 2016 to May 20, 2023 at 20 volumes.
This count includes the sequel Boruto: Two Blue Vortex and its 6 volumes, which has sold over a million copies at 4 volumes.
This success is similar to Dragon Ball: Super gaining 12 million sales since its inception in June 20, 2015, a year before Boruto’s release.
