Black Lagoon Releases Volume 14 After 3 Years!
Black Lagoon releases two volumes, including Volume 14 of the original manga after a long wait
On August 6, 2026, we finally got the cover for Volume 14 of Black Lagoon, featuring Balalaika, the boss of Hotel Moscow’s Thai branch in Roanapur.
This volume covers all six parts of the “El réquiem de los Desalmados” arc, from Chapter 117 (May 17, 2024) to Chapter 122 (May 19, 2026), a total of 6 chapters with on average 25 pages each, and exactly a full 2 years of content.
The previous volume was released on December 19, 2023, covering the last chapters for the “L’homme sombre” (Dark Man) arc.
For the first 9 volumes, the series released one volume a year from 2002 to 2009 but has since infrequently every 3-4 years due to the author’s health.

Simultaneously, the spinoff “Black Lagoon: Eda – Initial Stage” (2022) by Hajime Yamamura releases Volume 9, featuring the lead Eda.
Disguised as a nun, Eda is a member of the Rip-Off Church and this spinoff focuses on her early days in the CIA.
By December 19, 2023, the Black Lagoon manga had over 9.5 million copies in circulation.
