Black Clover Will Be ENDING VERY SOON
We might see the end of Black Clover quite soon with the battle between Asta and Lucius
With the release of the Winter 2025 batch of chapters on January 9, 2025, the Jump GIGA Winter Issue has hinted that Black Clover will be ending soon.
Alongside the chapters, we get a preview of Jump GIGA 2025 SPRING Issue, which mentions that Sakamoto Days will be on the cover.
Most importantly, Black Clover will receive the Lead Color Page and is confirmed to have reached the ‘climax of the current decisive battle’.

Climax in Japanese manga does not strictly mean the end but with Lucius being touted as the final antagonist of Black Clover, we might see this as a sign that we have 5 or so chapters before the conclusion.
However, this is not conclusive either.
Volume 37 will end by Chapter 380 and we only have up to Chapter 378, which means that the final battle is far from done.
Volume 38 is the most likely spot for Black Clover to end, requiring another 10 chapters.
In total, Black Chapter will have 12 chapters remaining within this timeframe.
As Black Clover is now a seasonal series, we might expect 6 Jump GIGA issues’ worth of content or 2 years more.
This could mean that if Tabata gives two chapters per batch like usual, Black Clover will end on the Fall 2026 issue.
However, if one or two batches will have a deviation of three, it will end sooner than later.
With the mention of climax, it seems to imply that Black Clover has set deadline ahead.
As there is no news on the Black Clover anime and its esteemed director, Tatsuya Yoshihara, working as the new director of the Chainsaw Man anime (at least the Reze Arc movie), we could see the anime being able to easily wrap up the manga’s story, as it left off with Chapter 270.
This might allow Black Clover to become a 52-episode anime, with the potential for split cours like Bleach’s own final arc.
