Black Clover Season 2 Releases Official Trailer!
Black Clover makes an incredible return to form with improved animation and visual quality that fans have long demanded for the adaptation.
On December 21, 2025, for Jump Festa 2026, Black Clover releases its first official PV of the new season.
Alongside Yuno and Asta’s oath at the start of the series, we see new scenes that will take place
The formation of Spade Kingdom Raid team led by Nacht Faust (Black Bulls Vice-Captain), consisting of Yuno (Golden Dawn Vice-Captain), Mereoleona Vermillion, Asta, Noelle Silva, and Captains Nozel Silva (Silver Eagles), Fuegoleon Vermillion (Crimson Lions), and Charlotte Roselei (Blue Roses).

Along with the trailer comes a key visual, featuring Asta in his Unite Form, together with Yuno, Nacht and Yami.
Black Clover Season 2 is set to premiere on 2026.
While no date has been specified, since Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, another anime from Studii Pierrot, will be released on July of the same year, it is possible Black Clover could drop by Fall 2026, especially as no date has been given.
So far, the trailer has shown the events of the Spade Kingdom Raid Arc, the 10th arc of Black Clover that covers Chapter 261: “Shadows of Night” to Chapter 331: “And the Time starts to move”, with only 10 chapters adapted so far via Episode 168: “Stirrings of the Strongest” to Episode 170: “The Faraway Future” that was released on March 30, 2021, meaning 4 years have passed since the previous season.
The remainder of Chapter 272: “Dark Prison Hunting Ground” up to Chapter 331 makes up 59 chapters of content, meaning about 12-13 episodes will adapt this arc, the average cour-length of modern anime.

Black Clover fans have also left notes on the Black Clover booth to show appreciation for the work and excitement for the anime after 5 years of waiting.
The Black Clover manga is entering its “Super Climax”, with new chapters that have arrived on Winter 2026 issue of Jump Giga this January 5, 2026.
Another batch is coming this Spring 2026 with a Special Feature, possibly announcing Special Projects for the end of the manga but with no confirmed date.
