Black Clover Manga Will Go On A Month Break After Chapter 358

The series will return on May 22, 2023 for Chapter 359 in WSJ issue #25

Yuki Tabata’s Black Clover manga is confirmed to go on a month long hiatus. According to sources, the manga will not appear in Weekly Shonen Jump issues #23 and #24. and will return in the magazine’s 25th issue on May 22, 2023 for Chapter 359.

Issue #23 is on break in Japan for Golden Week. The reason for the break subsequent in the subsequent weeks is unknown.

Golden Week is an annual long holiday week from late April through early May, which consists of national holidays like Constitution Memorial Day (May 3rd), Greenery Day (May 4th) and Children’s Day (May 5th). In 2023, Japanese residents will have a total of 5 days off on April 29, 30, May 3 – 5.

Tabata launched the Black Clover manga in Weekly Shonen Jump in February 2015. Viz Media publishes the manga digitally and in print, along with Shueisha’s MANGA Plus publishing the manga digitally.

The manga’s anime adaptation premiered in Japan in October 2017 and aired its 170th episode in March 2021.
