Fake vs Real Chainsaw Man! Chainsaw Man Chapter 200 Review!
Denji vs Fake Chainsaw Man might not go as you expect, considering how no one has yet to beat him.
In the previous Chainsaw Man chapter, the Death Devil enslaves her sister Fami and the Fake Chainsaw Man.
Chainsaw Man has finally reached 200 chapters after 7 years.
Chainsaw Man Chapter 200 is titled, “Toxic Couple”
This chapter has 15 pages.
The chapter begins with Asa shooting the sunset as she hates sunburns.
Quite a sensitive girl.
Denji brings a bread bun for Asa, saying he bought it but after Asa points out how broke Denji is, Denji reveals he bought it from a dead man’s wallet, which is quite unsettling for Asa but she eats it because, in her words, she is a toxic woman.
Asa realizes that the reason she is unhappy and toxic is because she has always dwelled on the bad stuff, especially expressing annoyance at how everyone else lives normal lives in spite of the terrible state of the world.
Turns out people were also struggling like her and chose to tune out the bad stuff to keep living.
This is a key theme in Fujimoto’s storytelling. Some call it ignorance, the most extreme version of this that is embodied by Quanxi.
However, this mechanism is what makes living feel like living as they find meaning without letting the darkness and cruelty of the world undermine the fun.
Later, Denji and Asa would take a bike ride, with Asa shooting pseudo-Chainsaw Men for fun.
Asa prepares to shoot the head of a Chainsaw Man figure in front of them, except it is none other than the Fake Chainsaw Man.
Surprisingly, this being was able to deflect the Gun Devil shot, an impressive strength feat, signifying how powerful the Fire Devil must be.
Would this be an indication of it being a Primal Fear?
The Fake Chainsaw Man chastises Denji for spending his time riding a bicycle with a girl since he is the solitary Hero of Hell.
Denji reminds the faker that this is not his backstory, which is some nice meta-commentary.
The chapter ends as Denji begins clashing with the faker as the latter reminds him of the mistake he has done.
Chainsaw Man Chapter 201 will be released on April 29, 2025.
