Kagurabachi and Sakamoto Days The First to Release Manga For 2027
Sakamoto Days and Kagurabachi will be releasing volumes together, right in time for their new seasons to be released.
On October 26, 2026, the various Weekly Shonen Jump manga set to release volumes for January 2027 have been announced, prominently Sakamoto Days and Kagurabachi.
This is notable because Kagurabachi had been beset with delays due to the author Takeru Hokazono’s health situation and month-long hiatus in June.
Sakamoto Days Volume 30 will cover Chapter 266: “Atari’s Reading” to Chapter 275: “Baton”
This shows the start of the final battle against Kei Uzuki, who eventually takes on the personality of Prime Sakamoto while the real one revives.
The previous volume showed Tanabata, the last Order member standing and Shin’s opponent,
The series as of now will at least reach Volume 31 and likely end around Chapter 284 or 285.
Meanwhile, Kagurabachi Volume 13 will properly cover the Seitei War Arc, from Chapter 114: “Kunishige Rokuhira” to Chapter 121: “The Irishima Talks – End”
The previous volume concluded Part 1 of Kagurabachi and fully introduced its main antagonist, Akemura Soga, with Part 2 setting up his and Chihiro’s father, Kunishige’s, backstory in the Seitei War Arc.
These two volumes are timed to the release of Sakamoto Days Season 2 and the anime debut for Kagurabachi on April 2027, as well as before or even during the finale for the Sakamoto Days manga.
Alongside the rest, these volumes will be released on January 4, 2027.
