The Sakamoto Days CINEMATIC UNIVERSE! Sakamoto Days Chapter 280 Spoilers!

\In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, Kanaguri brings Sakamoto and Uzuki to a kaiju film set and they end the chapter fighting in a samurai set.

Day 280 is titled, “Cinematic Violence”

This chapter has 21 pages, including the color spread.

Before that, for Weekly Shonen Jump Issue No. 48’s magazine cover is Sakamoto Days, celebrating its 6th anniversary.

We see Prime Sakamoto with a pen.

The color page announces the 6th anniversary of the manga and the 3rd character popularity poll.

The color spread shows every single member of Order across the past 10 ten years of the series:

The color spread says:

The chapter begins where the last one’s cliffhanger left off, with Kanaguri, now among the crowd, recording the arrival of Uzuki and Sakamoto on the samurai film set, specifically into a temple.

With a Buddha statue behind him, Sakamoto grabs a katana and Uzuki does the same behind the sliding door.

But when they clash, the prop swords easily break due to their superhuman strength and Uzuki throws Sakamoto towards the prop Buddha statue’s arms, breaking them and causing it to fall to the wall behind it, leading into the next set.

A jungle film set.

Here, Uzuki grabs one of the trees, which Sakamoto blocks with his bare left arm.

They then see the water ripple and from it emerged a dinosaur that chomps on Sakamoto but he easily escapes out of it

This brings us back to the Lab Arc, where Sakamoto and Shin take on a mechanized skeletal dinosaur in the Okutabi Science Museum.

Now, this fully fleshed but damaged mechasaurus rex is still chasing after Sakamoto, almost like it is alive.

Sakamoto talks to Shin, who is in front of the film studio.

Again since Sakamoto is distracted, Uzuki punches him to the wall, leading him to a boxing ring, where Uzuki and Sakamoto wear boxing gloves to keep up the fight, delivering a barrage of punches to each other.

Uzuki gets flung to the wall and smashes into a space film set, where they are on top of a spaceship.

As they keep fighting in fake space, Uzuki flings Sakamoto to the fake moon wall and they end in what appears to be a regular home film setting.

This is interesting.

Either this could be comedic or it will remind the seemingly “dead inside” Sakamoto-Uzuki of the normal life he spent, that one year, with Rion, before he killed her under Asaki’s threat.

Will the next chapter reveal something about Uzuki’s past?

Sakamoto Days Chapter 281 will be released on November 2, 2026.
