Samura vs Ibuki Misaka! Kagurabachi Chapter 134 Spoilers!

In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, the Misaka brothers fight in the streets, with Ibuki throwing Natsuki to jail while joining Shiba back to Tokyo.

Kagurabachi Chapter 134 is titled, “Masters of the Sword”

The chapter begins with Shiba and Ibuki Misaka returning to the Enchanted Blade Project’s headquarters in Tokyo.

Ichiki asks Shiba to explain himself and why Ibuki is here, to which Ibuki, extending his right hand to Shiba, says that the two of them had a fight which he overheard on the phone and we see Ibuki and Shiba clasp hands together.

However, Ichiki is still not satisfied.

Ibuki and Natsuki are yin and yang, opposing poles and archnemeses.

We see Natsuki wake up after some time with Officer Sugimoto remarking that although he wanted to arrest Ibuki personally, at least the town is more peaceful with him not being in it.

We see the headline of their father’s patricide at the hands of Ibuki.

We learn that the father was a famous sword master in Kyushu, training a lot of police officers, which is why Ibuki is treated by the law as a villain, on top of the act of murder itself.

However, he had a Spartan way of training his boys, a machismo insistence that the Misakas are never weak and weaklings cannot protect anyone, only to end up slaughtered.

Natsuki was treated most harshly, with the boy noting he will be killed next since their father believes all weaklings must die.

Ibuki promises to be a big brother and that together, they are unbeatable.

Ibuki will take care of the guy to the right while Natsuki handles the one to the left.

However, Natsuki could still not keep up with Ibuki, so their father scarred Natsuki on the nose and the cruel lesson forced Ibuki to kill the man who raised them.

Just like Sanemi from Demon Slayer, Ibuki went rogue, doing his best to keep his brother at a distance, saying that there is no future for garbage like himself so Natsuki should not waste his life following his older brother.

However, Natsuki did not hate his brother, only wishing to be by the side of the person he considered his hero.

Natsuki made the robes with the kanji for “supreme”, a reminder of their unbeatable strength together.

However, Ibuki refused association and fought him off, with that rejection fueling Natsuki’s frustration at present.

After Officer Sugimoto talks about the upcoming war, Natsuki reads Ibuki’s note, warning him not to follow or he will kill his brother.

Around this time, the Soga Clan and Sorcery Bureau called on all powerful Sorcerer Clans to form the very first Counter Sorcery Strategic Army, the first iteration of what will eventually be called the Kamunabi.

Other sorcerers were told by their underworld brokers.

Ibuki knew of the war and wanted to report to Tokyo.

Ichiki says Ibuki does not know his place since the Bureau is not looking for criminals.

Ibuki clarifies he is just a “motorcycle thug bound for hell” who will kill as many dirtbags as he can along the way.

He is basically Kagurabachi’s Punisher, someone no one must imitate.

Shiba vouches for Ibuki, saying that he only targets those the cops cannot handle, like Sorcerers.

However, he is more discerning than the Punisher.

Ichiki says the enemy is evil.

While Ibuki is willing to kill evildoers, he remarks that he has yet to meet them, so he cannot judge them right away.

Ichiki may understand why Shiba likes him but is frustrated by him bringing in punks.

This very well includes the whole idea of the Enchanted Blade Project done as an act of treason by Kunishige.

Someone is led inside and we see the blind Seiichi Samura come in and immediately clash with Ibuki, lunging with Iai White Purity Style and pointing his blade at Ibuki but Ibuki just reverse-grips and points his own at Samura’s neck, while Ibuki’s sword emits a spark via his Lightning Sorcery Raiku to light Samura’s cigarette.

It is funny he has one in spite quitting smoking.

The chapter has a funny ending with Natsuki wanting to go to Tokyo.

A reminder that he was supposed to be Kumeyuri’s bearer instead of Yoji Uruha as established in Chapter 89: “Battle Chaos”.
