Sanji FINALLY AWAKENS Conqueror’s Haki! One Piece Chapter 1196 Hints!

In the previous One Piece chapter, Sanji unlocks his Hell Memories, realizing his tendency to self-sacrifice is getting in the way of his path to becoming a Conqueror.

One Piece Chapter 1196’s preview is as follows:

“What will the Straw Hat crew do against the Holy Knights led by Imu!?”

Chopper Box Lore

We could get more scenes adding up to the lore behind the box containing information on Nefertari D. Lili being from Elbaph.

Okama Flashback

We will see the continuation to the flashback set up at the end of the previous chapter, showing how Ivankov attempts to provide insight or even therapy for Sanji’s mental weakness.

Eyebrow Switch Conquerors?

One hint shows that Sanji’s eyebrows are switched

This happened when Sanji awakened his Germa powers, so it seems like Sanji is attaining a natural buff to his Vinsmoke body, which explains how he is so strong without the Germa genetic enhancement his other siblings received.

And it is through Conqueror’s Haki, overcoming the self-loathing that was formed by his traumatic origins as the “failure of the Germa”, that Sanji fully reclaims himself and thus earns his original powers via Conqueror’s Haki.

This in a way enhances the narrative value of Conqueror’s Haki.

Rather than simplifying One Piece’s power system and combat, these recent string of chapters apply Conqueror’s Haki as triggers for character moments and even add new flavor to the power system, not only as a direct enhancement to swordsmen like Zoro and Mihawk but also giving new traits to people like Sanji.

Would this be another confirmation of his Lunarian heritage?

That Conqueror’s Haki awakens the Lunarian in a hybrid?

Break Next Week?
