Dragon Ball: Beerus Remake To Cover First Three Arcs
Dragon Ball Super will have 19 episodes to cover the first half of the original 131-episode anime.
On September 28, 2026, it was confirmed that Dragon Ball Super: Beerus, the remake of the early episodes of Dragon Ball Super, will have a total of 19 episodes cover the first three arcs of the story: the God of Destruction Beerus Saga,
This means that 41 episodes will be trimmed down to 19 or over half the length.
In the manga, this is 13 monthly chapters or about 500 pages of content that, unlike most manga, adapts from the anime itself.
Notably, we see the absence of the Future Trunks Saga (Episodes 47 to 74), meaning this could be included in a different set of remake episodes, perhaps paired with the Universe Survival Saga (Episodes 77-131), although plans for this remain up in the air.
Furthermore, the original composer, Norohito Sumitomo, is set to return with new soundtracks.
The remake is set to be released on October 11, 2026.
