Dandadan Volume 25 Teases Okarun’s True Awakening
Dandadan’s latest volume hints at Okarun acquiring real yokai powers as an oni
On August 29, 2026, we got the cover for Dandadan Volume 25, with Okarun holding the Oni Club in his hand in the lead while behind is Red Baron, who dominated the previous cover.
While Okarun does wield the Oni Club as a means to channel his ki and defend himself, the most recent Dandadan chapter, Chapter 245: “The Man All Hopes Are On”, hints at Okarun becoming closer to an oni himself, likely a result of his exposure to yokai.
This volume covers Chapter 211: “Who the Heck?” to Chapter 219: “The Mummy’s Weakness” as the first chapter ends the previous Shimane Arc and we enter the ongoing Six Curses Arc
As of June 1, 2026, Dandadan has sold over 14 million copies.
