GAKU IS ALIVE!!! Sakamoto Days Chapter 263 Spoilers!

Will Gaku be a wildcard in the final battle between Taro Sakamoto and Kei Uzuki?

SAKAMOTO DAYS © 2020 by Yuto Suzuki/SHUEISHA Inc.

In the previous Sakamoto Days, Shin finally defeats Tanabata, officially destroying the new Order.

Days 263 is titled, “Awakening”

This chapter has 19 pages.

Editor’s note: “The fight to the death is decided!!”

The chapter begins where we left off as the audience cheers for Shin and they ask for an encore.

Shin feels tired and staggers, telling the audience and band to go to the hospital due to their bleeding ears.

Shin feels ringing all over his body as a result of overusing his powers.

He thinks about how with this battle, he has taken a step closer to reaching Sakamoto’s level but he collapses and lies unconscious.

Meanwhile inside Kashimo’s lab, Kashimo remarks that with Haruma, Carolina Reaper, Kumanomi, Gaku, and Tanabata defeated, the only member of X’s Organization left is X himself, Kei Uzuki.

Kashimo sided with Sakamoto so that the latter could save Uzuki’s soul.

Suddenly, we see someone who we long thought was dead, rise up.

Gaku

It seems Kashima has patched him up once again.

He has been absent for nearly 100 chapters, for about 96 chapters.

Bro never seems to really die.

Kashima explains the situation to Gaku, who wonders where Takamura is.

Kashim reveals that Uzuki killed Takamura and Gaku could immediately sense Takamura’s personality within Uzuki.

Kashima stands in Gaku’s way, preventing him from interfering with the fight.

Will Gaku get involved and fight against Sakamoto or side with him?

Since Gaku views killing and video games as the same thing, it is likely that Gaku would get involved and that philosophy would interact with the status quo X is setting up.

Nagumo and Shishiba find themselves in a building Nagumo has taken up, where he brings out his spare Six-Function Knife.

Will Nagumo and Shishiba join the fight?

The chapter ends in an empty amusement park, which was where the first arc of the story was set, the fight against Boiled.

Here, Sakamoto and Kei Uzuki settle everything.

Could this really be it?

Has Sakamoto Days finally reached its final battle?

How many chapters remain?

Sakamoto Days is likely going to end in Volume 30.

Volume 27 was recently released on March 4th.

Volume 28 is set for August 4, 2026, which will cover Chapter 246: “Shishiba Said” to Chapter 255: “Just a Little Bit Now”,

This volume could show either Tanabata, who is in the lead of the next volume, or Shishiba and possibly Osaragi together.

Volume 29 could be released by November or December, covering Chapter 256: “Seconds” to the next chapter.

If not Tanabata, which may not be fitting for the penultimate volume, it could be Shin himself.

Suzuki is clearly setting up the final volume and it could follow the same trend as Jujutsu Kaisen’s final two volumes being released on December.

After Chapter 264, there will be 9 more chapters.

Editor’s Note: “Sakamoto Store vs. The New JAA Arc What awaits in the next chapter!?”

Is this the revised title of the “New JAA Arc”.

Sakamoto Days Chapter 264 will be released on June 22, 2026.
