Tribute Illustrations
From March 26 to early April, Kingdom received multiple tributes from different artists: Hiroya Oku (GANTZ), Kengo Hanazawa (I Am a Hero/Under Ninja), Masaki Kasahara (Gunjou Senki), and Masanori Morita (Rokudenashi Blues/Rookies)

Notably, Sui Ishida (Tokyo Ghoul/Choujin X) and Hirohiko Araki (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure) also provide tribute illustrations, usually redraws in their style, with the left as the original, right as the tribute illustrations.

Ishida’s tribute is a near 1:1 redraw of Shin killing Rin Ko at the end of Chapter 231.

Araki’s tribute is a copy of a panel of Ou Ki, the “Wyvern of Qin”, Great General of Qin and the last surviving member of the Six Great General.
Kingdom is a fictionalized retelling of the Qin state’s conquest of China during the Warring States period through the lens of Shin and other war orphans who have become generals of Ei Sei, the monarch of Qin and future first Emperor of China.
