On February 16, 2026, it was announced that MangaPlus, the official web app for Shueisha magazines, in in partnership with Tokyo Otaku Mode, has launched a new feature that allows users to create officially printed T-shirts using selected manga pages.

The release states:

“With this feature, users can select a manga page directly on the platform from any language and create a custom T-shirt featuring that page. The designs are printed in Japan and will be the original Japanese artwork and text, offering fans a new way to enjoy manga beyond the screen. The printed Japanese version is the very first version published. This means they’re the magazine version if they’re a Weekly Shonen Jump titles such as ONE PIECE and Sakamoto Days. These magazine versions may include promotional text or differ slightly from the translated versions.”

However, there are limits to the function, as “page selection is limited to eligible pages within supported titles and chapters. Certain titles, chapters, and pages may not be selectable. Selectable pages are marked with a ‘Create’ icon in the bottom right.”

After selecting a page, users are directed to a checkout interface to choose T-shirt color and size.

As of February 16, 2026, the feature supports more than 270 manga titles, including SPY x FAMILY and Dandadan, which are still ongoing, as well as works like My Hero Academia, Jujutsu Kaisen, and Kaiju No. 8 that have already concluded.

The T-shirt maker feature is available on both web and app for users worldwide, except for Japan, China, and Korea.

Yuta Momiyama, Shonen Jump+ Editor-in-Chief, commented:

“We’re very excited to have this feature available for the MANGA Plus fans! This feature is similar to the one we have here in Japan, and I believe it’s a really fun way to show your support for a manga you like. It’s really wonderful to live in an era where there are so many ways you can express yourself and the love you have for something. I hope that these T-shirts give people a new way to connect with manga and the stories they love. The T-shirts are made to order in Japan, so depending on your location, it could take a little while for it to get to you, but maybe you can enjoy waiting for your T-shirt while re-reading your favorite story!”
