Things take a crazy turn as Rocks will clash with Imu in the God Valley Incident, showing us the might of two godlike beings in One Piece.
In the previous One Piece chapter, we witnessed Garp’s demonic aura farming against three Emperors and how Rayleigh saved Shakky from Sommers.
One Piece Chapter 1162 promises unparalleled hype, judging from this reaction.
But why exactly?
The magazine preview states:

Rocks Is the Star
The first hint comes from Pewpiece, showing Rocks in flames.
This could signify that Rocks will be the cause of God Valley’s total destruction or will rampage after witnessing the death of his wife, Eris.
Some hints mention that he might be on a side quest, in spite of the urgency to find his family.
This could be connected to how Rocks killed an Admiral before reaching Imu in Mary Geoise.
Kaido’s First Use of His Azure Dragon Fruit
The second hint by Redon shows Kaido’s Azure Dragon form rising up.
This confirms that God Valley was the very first usage of a young Kaido’s newly-acquired Devil Fruit, given to him by fellow Rocks Pirate and future Emperor, Charlotte Linlin during the God Valley Incident itself.
Big Mom Makes Another Big L
The third hint shows Big Mom being punched to the face by Eustass Kid’s Jaki Jaki no Mi Arm.
Coincidentally, Captain John has a similar arm.
Will this chapter finally confirm that John was the previous user of the Devil Fruit?
Most certainly, John will not end his career here as he still has to be a Captain and make a name for himself, including his legendary treasure Buggy once looked for.
Imu’s Involvement: Rocks vs Saturn
The final hint comes from WorstGenHQ, which should be taken with a grain of salt but Imu will intervene in the God Valley Incident.
This does make sense, considering the involvement of two powerful pirate crews led by bearers of the D name and a Marine Vice-Admiral with the D name, not to mention the presence of the remaining Buccaneers, who could be tied to Joy Boy himself, Imu’s archnemesis.
The hint specifically shows Jaygarcia Saturn being possessed by Imu, which is also how Imu burned Elbaph in the present day, creating a striking parallel of events.
Does this potentially foreshadow Gunko’s death in the present when she recovers her memories with Brook?
