On September 23, 2025, it was announced on Weekly Josei Issue #14 that Mashle: Magic and Muscle will have a live-action movie.

Recently, Sakamoto Days also announced its own live-action film.

It is alleged that the movie will be directed by Yuichi Fukuda, the same person directing the Sakamoto Days live-action and will star Arata Mackenyu, the actor for Roronoa Zoro in the ongoing One Piece Live-Action, as well as Yukishiro Enishi, the main antagonist of Ruruoni Kenshin: The Final.

The leak from Shukan Josei stated that:

“Filming took place in Gunma Prefecture in early September.

In one scene, Mackenyu’s clothes slipped open, showing off his seriously muscular build, a solid powerful V-shape.

It seems he bulked up to match the superhuman strength of the original character.”

Alongside Sakamoto Days, Fukuda will also be directing the Mashle live-action adaptation, signaling a trend in adapting recent Shonen Jump hits that could even extend to the likes of Kagurabachi, which has been gaining much traction in its 2-year run.
