Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure Steel Ball Run Unveils First Trailer
After 3 years since the end of Stone Ocean, Part 7 of Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Steel Ball Run, has become an anime and will set off in 2026.
On September 23, 2025, Warner Bros released a livestream showing the big announcement for Jojo Bizarre Adventure, including a trailer featuring the four lead characters: the Part’s Jojo, Johnny Joestar, the second main protagonist, Gyro Zepelli, and Steven and Lucy Steel to the tune of the new theme for the series.
Furthermore during the livestream, it was announced that the anime will be exclusively streaming on Netflix.
This disappointed fans due to the experience with Stone Ocean (2021-2022), releasing the episodes by batches.
Later on, on September 25, one of the two directors, Yasuhiro Kimura, revealed there might some changes to the start of the series.
On December 9, 2025, character designer Daisuke Tsumagari released a key visual featuring Johnny and Gyro.
Steel Ball Run will participate Jump Festa 2026 on December 20-21, 2025 but rather than a specific color stage (Blue, Red and Green), there is a dedicated booth showing off memorabilia and will have mini-stage events with cast members and a stamp rally.
The anime is scheduled for 2026, with a leaked date or placeholder of March 19, 2026 from Netflix metadata.
