Jujutsu Kaisen’s 5th Anniversary Unveils Five Big Announcements
Alongside the announcement of Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, we get more exciting events and the compilation film for the Shibuya Incident coming to Japan and North America!
During the livestream of the 5th anniversary special program on August 31, 2025, Jujutsu Kaisen unveiled its five announcements.
Season 3 is Here!
The first one is the trailer and release date for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3, which has its first part of the split-cour season set for January 2026.
This is the second confirmed anime from MAPPA to air for Winter 2026 alongside Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku Season 2.
The Execution Compilation Film
An early screening of the first two episodes of Season 3 will be shown to Japanese theaters on November 7, 2025 and to North American theaters on December 5, 2025.
This will be part of the Execution compilation film, which will be a condensed recap of the 18-episode long Shibuya Incident along with the start of the Culling Game Arc.
The key visual features the two main characters of the film, Yuji Itadori and Yuta Okkotsu: with different frames showing the key events for the film such as Satoru Gojo’s fight against the Disaster Curses and subsequent sealing that sets up the Shibuya Incident, Toji Fushiguro’s revival, Yuji vs Choso, Sukuna’s fights against Jogo and Mahoraga, Nanami Kento’s death, the final battle against Mahito and Kenjaku’s activation of the Culling Game.
As the Hidden Inventory film continues to be screened worldwide, with the Philippines releasing on September 3, 2025, there is a possibility that the compilation film will also be released to other regions.
Jujutsu Kaisen Anime Exhibition
Exhibition includes display of a large number of production materials from the anime, including original drawings, storyboards, and setting materials.
Event starts from December 5 in Japan.
Phantom Parade Original Story
There will be an Original Story Event titled, “Cursed Hell Island” for the Jujutsu Kaisen video game, with a one-minute trailer exploring the concept.
“JUJU FEST” 2026
There will be a “JUJU FEST” event held in Summer 2026.
