Kawaki STOMPS Jura EASILY! Boruto: Two Blue Vortex Chapter 23 Full Spoilers!

Can we talk about how BUSTED Current Kawaki is right now? And we have not seen anything yet!

ABD x Boruto: Two Blue Vortex © 2023 Mikio Ikemoto, Masashi Kishimoto Shueisha

In the previous Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter, Jura manages to cancel Boruto’s most powerful technique, Rasengan: Uzuhiko with the same method as creating Tailed Beast Balls.

Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 23 is titled, “The Strong”

This chapter has 40 pages.

The cover page shows Jura Jojo-posing with his signature teal background, the same color as what is under his cloak.

Editor’s note: “Mitsuki, fighting alone, wiped out Claw Grime!! Then, on Boruto’s orders, Konohamaru joins up with him!?”

The chapter begins with Mitsuki finishing off the Claw Grimes using Sage Mode.

For those who think this was a dumb move, keep in mind that the Claw Grimes are the reason the Sentient Shinju even exist.

Getting eaten by one is a risk no one should take.

Konohamaru appears in the scene after being rescued by Boruto last chapter.

Mitsuki carries the unconscious Sarada on his back.

Two chapters ago, Sarada used her Mangekyo Sharingan: Ohirume to defeat Ryu and was exhausted from the effort.

Konohamaru tells Mitsuki that Araya went after Ryu’s Thorn Soul and Mitsuki says that he intends to go to the spot where Shinki turned into a tree.

Konohamaru does lament what happened to Yodo but then says she would understand that the sentient Divine Trees are foes that demand that level of resolve and she would be happy if the team succeeded in retrieving the Thorn Soul.

After telling Mitsuki about how Boruto saved him, Konohamaru reveals that eliminating Boruto is a higher priority for the Sentient Divine Trees than retrieving the Thorn Souls, which are their comrades’ lives.

Mitsuki intends to back up Boruto in his ongoing fight against Jura but Konohamaru discourages it, saying that their mission is strictly to retrieve the Thorn Souls and Boruto understood that he needed to distract Jura to save his comrades.

Mitsuki is concerned, showing his old loyalty to Boruto in spite of still being under Omnipotence.

Konohamaru wonders if Boruto has some kind of plan.

We cut back to the confrontation with Jura and Boruto is still reeling in from Jura’s Tailed Beast Bomb last chapter as while it missed a vital spot, the damage was worse than he anticipated.

Jura notes that the biggest flaw of his Tailed Beast Bomb is the wind-up motion.

So Jura contemplates between sniping from extreme range using the “rifle-type” Tailed Beast Bomb or a close-ranged “scatter-type” one to finish off a difficult opponent like Boruto.

Jura charges forward.

He is flying with style, going headfirst while his hands are on his pockets.

Jura fires a smaller Tailed Beast Bomb as a counter for Boruto’s kunai but Boruto uses the kunai to teleport behind Jura with the Flying Thunder God technique.

Boruto remarks that Jura still overwhelms him in terms of physical power.

Before Boruto could fully unsheathe his sword, Jura disarms him and the sword falls but Boruto falls a bit and retrieves the sword to cut off Jura’s right foot, which Jura compliments him on.

Jura continues lunging at Boruto with his middle finger cots made from Code’s Claw Mark material.

The first sneak peek is Page 14 as Boruto unleashes his Purple Lightning that seemingly shocked Jura.

While the move merely let his hair up, Jura remarks that Boruto’s movements have become sluggish.

Since aiming for Boruto clumsily with the Tailed Beast Bomb did not work, Jura decides to beat him to death for a quicker finish.

Meanwhile, Konohamaru and Mitsuki arrive at the area Boruto designated.

Mitsuki wonders what is in here but Konohamaru tells him not to ask that as he does not know.

Going back to the fight, Jura throws him to the ground and prepares to fire a Tailed Beast Bomb at Boruto.

Boruto flies up to get away, which leads to Page 20, the second sneak peek with Jura leaving a crack on Boruto’s sword and he kicks him away.

From afar, Eida says she cannot watch this.

This is a good look into Eida’s character as she is not there as a Kawaki simp.

In fact, she is prominently an ally of Boruto’s cause, wanting him to stop Kawaki’s dark path and maybe even caring for him beyond her guilt for the Omnipotence incident.

Koji himself is worried as he bows his head.

Eida pesters for Koji to respond but Koji tells her to be quiet for a moment as “the update” is coming.

Yes, like all of us, Koji is seeing leaks of the Boruto manga.

Ten Directions reveals four new scenes, with what is clearly seen is Jura covering his right eye, Boruto falling and Himawari.

Koji is shocked as we focus on Jura covering his right eye.

Jura looks down on Boruto, who is still gripping Sasuke’s sword.\

Flying up, Jura says that in honor of his courage, he will give Boruto a quick death.

Suddenly, a rod pierces Jura’s right eye.

Oh those Isshiki rods…we have not seen those since…

IT’S KAWAKI UZUMAKI!!!

Kawaki stands on Jura’s back and expresses no surprise to see that Jura would still be alive even with a rod to the face.

We come back to Eida who is worried about what Koji saw and Koji explains that the last “update” was six days ago and that Kawaki’s involvement was a development he has never seen before.

Koji realizes that Boruto must have told Kawaki something and altered the future, which went against Koji’s orders.

Boruto subtly defying Koji’s orders to not interfere with the future was something I did not think about but it was very in-character, in spite of the risks to their strategy, not really so much what happens to the timeline as there are multiple paths seen in Ten Directions (hence the name).

However, Kawaki’s involvement in this fight was seemingly not in those premonitions.

Mitsuki, meanwhile, looks around for a Flying Thunder God technique mark (any of the metal shapes).

Suddenly, Delta appears, flying above them, finally having found Konohamaru, Mitsuki and Sarada.

We cut back to the Jura fight as Jura tries to attack Kawaki but Kawaki shrinks himself with Sukunahikona and throws more rods that pierce through Jura’s durable body.

Jura fires a Tailed Beast Bomb but Kawaki dodges and then goes to Boruto.

For the first time since their three-year separation, Kawaki calls Boruto his “damn brother”, telling him to get up.

Boruto says that Kawaki is the one lagging behind while Jura remarks on the sudden power spike.

This is the development Kawaki did not expect as pre-Limiter removal, he was not strong enough to do this much to Jura.

Boruto was expecting Kawaki to show up in the fight against Jura.

As Boruto rises, Kawaki tells him to get a grip as if he loses control, he will kill him.

Kawaki takes his stance as he and Boruto challenge Jura!

Delta might have been the means to bring Kawaki there and to also rescue the other Leaf Ninja.

This alteration could save the future as now, two Otsutsuki vessels are facing off against the Ten-Tails himself!

Will the next chapter result in a victory, a change in the status quo or a much worse future?
