Call of the Night Season 2 Reveals New Key Visual
Call of the Night will be returning this July for a second season, leading to its most exciting parts.

On May 15, 2025, we get our latest key visual for Call of the Night Season 2.
The key visual shows a cracked mirror from a cigarette lighter, with the upper side showing the deuteroganist, the vampire Nazuna Nanakusa, together with a younger version of the detective and main antagonist, Anko Ungisu, known here as Kyouko Mejiro. On the opposite side is Nazuna’s mother, Haru Nanakusa, a nurse and vampire named, embracing Kabura Honda.
Produced by Liden Films (Tokyo Revengers), Season 1 adapted the first 46 chapters of the manga within 13 episodes
Considering the pacing, Season 2 might reach up to its 100th chapter, which concludes the Halloween arc.
The season will begin airing on July 4, 2025.
About Call of the Night
Call of the Night is a manga written and illustrated by author of Dagashi Kashi (2014-2018), Kotoyama, that has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from August 28, 2019 to January 24, 2024.
As of March 24, 2024, the manga has sold 5 million copies worldwide, across its 20 volumes and exactly 200 chapters.
In 2023, the manga won the 68th Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category.
Bearing the title of a Creepy Nuts song, the story is about a boy, Kou Yamori, enjoying the freedom of night more than daytime, forming a friendship with the vampire Nazuna Nanakusa.
