Call of the Night Season 2 Releases New Trailer

The main trailer for Call of the Night’s latest season confirms that the manga’s first and best saga will be wrapped up here.

On June 5, 2025, coinciding with news of the manga’s sequel, we get the full trailer for the new Call of the Night anime season, beginning early with a tense encounter with the Detective Anko Ungisu and mostly showing Nazuna staying in the hospital where Kabura Honda works as a nurse.

The opening song is titled, “Mirage” by Creepy Nuts, who have provided the opening and ending for Season 1, as well as insert song “Loss Time” for Season 1 and are the inspiration behind the manga title itself.

Produced by Liden Films (Tokyo Revengers), Season 1 adapted the first 46 chapters of the manga within 13 episodes

Considering the pacing, Season 2 might reach up to its 100th chapter, which concludes the Halloween arc.

Call of the Night Season 2 will premiere on July 4, 2025.

About Call of the Night

Call of the Night is a manga written and illustrated by author of Dagashi Kashi (2014-2018), Kotoyama, that has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine from August 28, 2019 to January 24, 2024.

As of March 24, 2024, the manga has sold 5 million copies worldwide, across its 20 volumes and exactly 200 chapters.

In 2023, the manga won the 68th Shogakukan Manga Award for the shōnen category.

Bearing the title of a Creepy Nuts song, the story is about a boy, Kou Yamori, enjoying the freedom of night more than daytime, forming a friendship with the vampire Nazuna Nanakusa.
