The Japan Academy Film Prize recently announced the receivers of their special rewards, and One Piece Film Red’s music team received the Chairman’s Distinguished Service Award.

The awards are granted to those whom the committee of the Japan Academy believes to have contributed greatly to Japanese movies. Furthermore, the Chairman’s Distinguished Service Award celebrates works that have helped a movie achieve an outstanding box office performance.

Also, the ceremony for the 46th annual Japan Academy Film Prize will be held on March 10.

One Piece Film Red is in Japanese cinemas till January 29, celebrating its record-breaking run.

Crunchyroll describes the movie as:

Uta —the most beloved singer in the world. Renowned for concealing her own identity when performing, her voice has come to be described as “otherworldly.” Now, for the first time ever, Uta will reveal herself to the world at a live concert. As the venue fills with all kinds of Uta fans—excited pirates, the Navy watching closely, and the Straw Hats led by Luffy who simply came to enjoy her sonorous performance—the voice that the whole world has been waiting for is about to resound. The story begins with the shocking fact that she is Shanks’ daughter.
