Father’s Day Will Flood With Tears! One Piece Anime Reveals Upcoming Titles for June’s Episodes
Kuma’s fatherly journey will be the centerpiece of any anime fan’s Father Day.
On June 5, 2025, One Piece revealed the titles for the continuation of the Bartholomew Kuma backstory

To note, Episode 1133 will be released on Father’s Day, which aligns with the character of Bartholomew Kuma, an adoptive father, at the center of this emotional series of episodes throughout the month of June.
There was one other One Piece episode that aired on Father’s Day, such as Episode 314: “The Strongest Family Lineage? Luffy’s Father Revealed!” (June 17, 2007) that revealed Luffy’s father, Monkey D. Dragon, who happens to be Kuma’s superior in the Revolutionary Army.
There were also episodes that aired around June with similar themes such as Baratie Arc’s Episode 30: “Departure! Sea Chef and Luffy Travel Together!” (June 28, 2000), where Sanji says goodbye to his adopted father Zeff to join Luffy, Dressrosa Arc’s Episode 696: “A Tearful Reunion — Rebecca and Kyros!” (June 7, 2015) and Episode 840: “Cutting the Father-Son Relationship – Sanji and Judge” (June 10, 2018) that showed Sanji cutting himself off from his father after saving him and their family.
