YURA WINS! Kagurabachi Chapter 99 Spoilers!

Yukisada, the strongest Hishaku, defeats Hakuri and Kiri while Yura closes in on the Sword Saint. Has he truly won?

KAGURABACHI © 2023 by Takeru Hokazono/SHUEISHA Inc.

In the previous Kagurabachi chapter, the legless former Anti-Cloud Gouger Force Captain Hagiwara summons Kugara’s mask like a familiar to fight against the Hishaku and manages to find the

Kagurabachi Chapter 99 is titled, “The Strongest of All”

This chapter has 19 pages.

The chapter begins with Hagiwara laughing in victory but the young Hishaku rises, bearing a knife in spite of his injuries to fight Hagiwara but Hagiwara manages to cut his left arm, apologizing to the boy, saying that he has to kill him now.

Later on, we learn from Yura the name of the young Hishaku (Lucas), Yukisada.

This leaves the Pine Sorcerer (one of the Big Three alongside Hokuto and Uran) and “Worst Jeanist” among the unnamed Hishaku and we are nearly 100 chapters in.

The name “Yukisada” can translate to “constant snow” or “pure snow”, reflecting his absolute devotion to Yura.

In spite of this, we find out that Yukisada can regenerate and has regrown his left arm.

Yukisada’s Regeneration might be the reason why the Hishaku are able to recover their limbs, such as how Hiruhiko has a new arm.

Yukisada repairs the bodies of others, which is why Yura values him so much that he calls him the “strongest Hishaku” and he is 17 years old, even younger than Hiruhiko, which potentially makes him the youngest Hishaku as well, a willing pawn for Yura’s goals.

He is basically what happens if Code from Boruto had plot relevance before Isshiki’s death.

Anyway, Yukisada says he should be treated practically as an adult.

Hagiwara remarks that Regeneration is the perfect time waster and it seems Yukisada became a vessel for the barrier precisely because of his Sorcery and the determination to withstand pain at such a young age.

Suddenly, Hagiwara collapses, recalling that he has barely eaten in days and calls for a time-out.

From behind, Kiri prepares to behead Yukisada with her gigantic (cute) sword Onichika but Yukisada was able to hold the blade to his side and kicks Kiri away so that the blade stays stuck to him and thus prevents Kiri from getting the upper hand.

Yukisada’s regeneration is almost at hyperspeed.

Suddenly, Hakuri appears and uses Isou to throw a different sword for Kiri to take and decapitate Yukisada.

This weakened Isou has almost become like telekinesis.

However, Yukisada grabs his own head while letting go of Onichika so that he can continue to fight.

While holding his own head, Yukisada says that if Yura says black is white, then it will be so and that also means that Yukisada is indeed the strongest Hishaku, as Yura said in Chapter 87: “Ghosts”.

Hagiwara is horrified to find an immortal sorcerer and begs for a way to kill him, whether it is in burning or evaporating him.

As Yukisada blitzes Kiri and Hakuri, Hagiwara has flashbacks to the lost of the Anti-Cloud Gouger Special Forces.

Suddenly, Yura arrives, killing the other Kamunabi in the room and holding a severed arm with his left hand.

Hakuri worries about Azami and the others.

Yura says that time is a valuable thing and it is revealed that he had killed so many Kamunabi along his path, leaving Azami, Natsuki and Uruha’s fates uncertain.

Now, he declares that he has found the Sword Saint and heads there to kill him.

Editor’s note: “The worst-case draws near..”

The time has come.

After 2 years, Kagurabachi Chapter 100 will be released on November 10, 2025.
