Sukuna’s Final Finger is Here! JUJUTSU KAISEN CHAPTER 266 SPOILERS

In the last chapter, Yuji Itadori brings Ryomen Sukuna to his Domain Expansion, exploring Itadori’s neighborhood, childhood and the meaning of life. Rejecting Itadori’s mercy, Sukuna declares that he will utterly destroy everything Itadori ever cared for.

Chapter 266 is titled “Inhuman Makyo Shinjuku Showdown, Part 37”

Editor’s comment: Itadori listens to Megumi’s soul

Megumi brings up how he wanted to create a world where the weak like Tsumiki would not constantly go through an unfair life.
Megumi: Even if I couldn’t create such a world, I wanted to maintain that fragile life at least while I was alive and while she was in my sight.
Eating homemade meals, watching laundry dry off, walking side by side with a person like you (Itadori), and seeing Tsumiki off to school. Makes me think “Ah, I am so happy”.

But it’s okay now.

Itadori: My Grandpa was diagnosed with lung cancer but he rejected the harsh treatments. My body was always tough so  I never understood the decision to refuse the treatment or the idea of euthanasia. Back then, I thought it was that person’s problem and I felt bad because I could endure it but it won’t be easy for others when they are in pain. After coming to Jujutsu Tech and experiencing the worst things imaginable, I started to understand the choices that people like my Grandpa made, the choices of people who had to face harsh unavoidable realities.

Itadori says he understands how depressed Megumi is right now and so Itadori cannot get himself to tell Megumi to live

In the real world, Sukuna, now in his present four-armed form, activates Hollow Wicker Basket.

While on the defensive, Sukuna says that he cannot use Gojo’s method for restoring a burnt-out cursed technique because his brain is still wracked from the effects of Infinite Void.

The narrator explains that Hollow Wicker Basket and Simple Domain are weaker in output compared to actual domains. But by keeping the hand sign intact even after activating Hollow Wicker Basket, Sukuna compensated for the output it would lack. Thanks to having four arms, with two maintaining the sign, Sukuna could continue to fight without getting overwhelmed by the opponent’s domain.

Birds are seen flying off.

Itadori and Sukuna begin throwing hands.

Sukuna lands a powerful strike on Itadori, sending Itadori flying.

Sukuna says he is really surprised at how angry he got when he is looked down upon

Sukuna: To show your pity to me!! I can’t wait to make every human other than you atone for what YOU’VE done!!

Itadori looks at Sukuna as he rises up.

The scene shifts to where a younger Megumi in the alley where Gojo met him for the first time. Megumi asks the same question he asked Gojo but now directs it to Itadori, who looks at him.

Kid Megumi: What’s with that face?

Itadori: Well… It’ll be sad without you, Fushiguro…

Suddenly, Sukuna falls into a shadow, keeping him immobilized for a while.

Sukuna: Megumi Fushiguro’s soul, which I had submerged with the “Bath”, spewed back to life because of the brat’s “Dismantle”!!

Sukuna also says that Mahoraga is destroyed and Ten Shadow Technique has already lost its function

Sukuna receives a punch from Itadori, sending Sukuna flying

Itadori smiles as he runs towards Sukuna.

Itadori and Sukuna trade blows to each other’s faces

Sukuna activates Hollow Wicker Basket to shield against Itadori’s punches.

Sukuna: My Reverse Cursed Technique is pointless against the brat’s attack! Hollow Wicker Basket is going to fall apart!

Sukuna exclaims that he has the advantage as the superior sorcerer but Itadori declares that he will break him (Megumi) free.

Suddenly, slashes come out flying and Itadori’s cursed tool which he has equipped in his clawed hand shatters. Yuji realizes that Sukuna used Gojo’s technique of resetting the burnt-out cursed technique.

Sukuna’s proceeds to open his Domain, but Yuji reacts and instantly activates his own Domain Expansion.

Sukuna is utterly shocked!

Suddenly, Sukuna senses his own finger, which is tied up somewhere connected to a long winding flight of stairs.

Editor’s comment at the end of the chapter: “SHINJUKU BATTLE REACHES IT’S CLIMAX NEXT WEEK!”
