Shishiba Upscale? Top 3 Order Member? Sakamoto Days Chapter 253 Spoilers!

In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, after Osaragi defeats the Mother Assassin, Gozu loses his right hand’s nail guards, cutting his lightning power by half.

Days 253 is titled, “God of Lightning”

Editor’s note: “Shishiba vs Gozu. an inevitable battle to the death!”

The chapter begins with Shishiba taunting Gozu about his need to charge, that Shishiba has a portable battery but Gozu says that he can kill Shishiba without one and, seeing the sun set, Gozu decides to crank up the voltage.

With his armed left hand, Gozu charges and it seems that the delayed electric attacks still hurt Shishiba.

Shishiba realizes that Gozu is constantly outputting electricity, which explains the implant on his chest.

Meanwhile, Gozu is surprised by Shishiba’s speed being able to match his Overclock speed, comparing it to Gaku.

This is high praise considering how Gaku is one of the top three strongest in X’s Organization.

Suddenly, Gozu feels his battery drain due to his overclock consuming too much power and it was possible because Shishiba was catching up to him.

This gives Shishiba an opening to throw him through buildings.

However, in typical Sakamoto Days fashion, this was a dumb move because now Gozu is in front of curious onlookers…who happen to be emergency response personnel with AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators).

Of all the dumb luck…

Now Gozu is even more powered up, with one even making a Frankenstein’s Monster reference, saying he’s alive.

Meanwhile, Shishiba is atop a car, looking for Gozu and asking the driver of the car why she stopped.

They notice the traffic lights are all out of power.

With this darkness, Gozu sneaks up on him and throws him to the nearby lake, which does save Shishiba.

So begins the next phase of their battle.
