The Newest Members of Order Revealed! Sakamoto Days Chapter 223 Spoilers!
The New JAA Arc ends on the recruitment of four new members to Order! Can Sakamoto Days’ final arc actually give us its most exciting battles with these new characters?
In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, Oki vs Nagumo has begun but the two end up ordering coffee in a restaurant.
Sakamoto Days chapter 223 is titled, “Cocky”
This chapter has 15 pages.
Editor’s note: “Nagumo vs Oki- A fight breaks before they even catch their breath!!”
The chapter begins with the two men getting their coffees but Nagumo throws a knife at a wall and Nagumo kicks Oki on the face to the nearby wall.
Oki stands up and drinks his coffee, which has somehow remained intact.
Nagumo shows the bill but then Oki throws Nagumo away.
Nagumo says it is custom for the boss to pay but Oki reminds him that he is no longer his boss.
With each man bringing out their signature weapons: Nagumo’s Six-Function Knife and Oki’s Naginata, Nagumo suggests the survivor pays the tab.
As they fight, Oki reveals that the Order’s dominance has ended and they are looking for new members to fill the vacancies.
We see these members in action, starting with a policeman who joined to use a gun and now that people can freely own guns, he decides to shoot a man who complained about public safety to him.
Next, we see a woman wearing a scarf covering her mouth and sunglasses while having a baby. She cuts a man’s head off after he insults her baby and she remarks that the baby enjoys blood.
In the Kansai Academy of Assassins, another academy like Japan Clear Creation, we see a brother and sister pair, with the sister excited at the two of them being recognized while her cowardly brother says that assassins should be more discreet.
The chapter ends with Gozu and Torres coming for the siblings, with Gozu excited to see juniors (kouhai) as he has never been to school before while Torres calls him a weird man.
The chapter’s drawing quality after the Nagumo vs Oki fight seems to be rather rough and will hopefully be more polished in the volume release.
