Shin UPGRADES His Clairvoyance to Stop Slur’s Plan! Sakamoto Days Chapter 212 Spoilers!!

In the previous Sakamoto Days chapter, we meet the most recent member of X’s Organization, Gozu, whose lightning manipulation forces the three Order defectors to retreat.

Day 212 is titled, “Shin’s Plan”

This chapter has 16 pages.

The chapter begins with a still shell-shocked Sakamoto looking at the ruins of his store as he recalls where we left off with him in Chapter 207: “A New JAA” as Shin and the others head out.

However, Kindaka asks if Sakamoto will be okay.

Heisuke leads them to some chaos in the town, with one man pointing a gun at another.

Heisuke takes one of the guns, which provokes the crowd to point their guns at Sakamoto but he freezes, recalling how the store was destroyed.

Suddenly, Shin orders the crowd to shoot at him instead and they do but Shin uses a manhole cover to protect himself.

Shin is surprised that he was able to rewrite the thoughts of multiple people all at once.

Heisuke checks on Sakamoto, who is once again feeling the PTSD, with Kindaka remarking that the shock hit Sakamoto harder than he expected.

Sakamoto expresses how losing Aoi is a devastating mistake and he wishes to get his assassin spirit back but Shin comes to him, saying that he did not lose anything but the opposite.

Rather, Sakamoto has found something precious and motivates Sakamoto about the future of opening more branches of the Sakamoto Store, so until Sakamoto regains his strength, Shin will protect the family.

They then head for the Research Center — Okutabi Branch, Laboratory No. 2.

Here, Shin talks to his adopted father, Asakura, and they argue about Shin’s sudden request to upgrade his powers.

Asakura explains that Shin’s ability to modify thoughts relies on fine-tuned electrical signals targeting specific regions of the brain to produce distinct neural activity patterns.

So, Asakura intends to create a device that reads his brain’s electrical activity and amplifies it over a stronger signal—like a radio wave—to broaden the range.

However, the device will take two to three days to work, which frustrates Shin.

That is until Kashima appears.

Shin was surprised to see that Kashima is still alive after the events of the Assassin Exhibition of the Century Arc but it seems that Kashima was looking for the two Asakuras.

Asakura is angry due to the events of the early Lab Arc, where Kashima was the man who took over the lab for Slur.

Kashima realizes that his sense of justice had gone wrong, especially with the escalation of violence, so he wishes to atone.

Asakura asks what made him change. Kashima says that Slur has been caught up in blind violence that has harmed many innocents, which is far from his personal concept of justice.

So Asakura gives Kashima the device blueprint and that they have an hour to complete it.

As Heisuke and the two former Order founders flee, Shin is on top of a radio tower with a megaphone, which would give Shin’s brain a tough test but Shin is willing to take on the burden.

So, Shin orders everyone to aim their guns downward and fire all of their shots.
