Loki DEFINITELY Ate the NIDHOGG Dragon Fruit! One Piece Chapter 1171 Early Spoilers!

In the previous One Piece chapter, Loki tearfully ends his father’s torment after reclaiming the Legendary Devil Fruit of Elbaph.

One Piece Chapter 1171 is titled, “Ragnir”

This week’s cover illustration shows Zoro with a cat on his head.

Imu’s Weakness EXPOSED

On the last few pages of the flashback, we see Imu experience backlash from losing Harald.

This is confirmation that Imu actually gives his essence through the Covenants.

This explains the “strange Haki” that Gaban and others sense.

It is because that Haki belongs to Imu and he is essentially sharing his same properties of immortality and immense strength to the Holy Knights.

This is also why the Holy Knights of God are weak to Conqueror’s Haki.

Unless the vessel has advanced Conqueror’s Haki like Harald and a few of the Elders, then

Notice also that Imu is feeling hurt from a fallen Holy Knight, not from Demons like Rocks.

This means that hurting the Holy Knights hurts Imu and is the key to his ultimate defeat.

By sharing power, Imu has sealed his fate.

Essentially, Conqueror’s Haki conquers Imu.

By converting the Domi Reversi Demons back to humans and Holy Knights and Elder Stars into their warrior selves.

Giants, Buccaneers, the Will of D

Imu declares that he will not send another Holy Knight of God to Elbaph and that Elbaph will never affiliate with the World Government because of their connection to the D.

There are no coincidences at this point since the Elbaph flashback mini-arc showed God Valley and its ties to the Davy Clan, who also have ties with the Buccaneers, as well as Imu using Domi Reversi on the land like he does in the present day.

Joy Boy and Davy D. Jones were likely a Buccaneer, a descendant of a human and a Giant or possibly more.

The anime adaptation of the Egghead Arc also posited the idea that Joy Boy could also be a Lunarian.

But this also ties to the three races Big Mom did not have in her book collection.

Giants (because she was banished from Elbaph and has been trying to create Giants out of human children via Caesar Clown’s experiments, Lunarians (King) and possibly Buccaneers.

Since the Davy Clan had Buccaneers and that it is possible and likely that Blackbeard’s unique body is from Buccaneer traits like Kuma’s, we might see the deeper links between Giants and Buccaneers by the end of the Elbaph Arc, maybe even finally learn about the Will of D’s true meaning, outside of Xebec’s claim that it is the Will of Davy.

This Moment 100% Proves That Loki Has Nidhogg

Back to the present. Hajrudin apologizes to Loki for not giving him a chance at all and so frees him from his ankle shackle.

Suddenly a Draugr skeleton monster falls in the Underworld.

Loki claims he can fly, so he tells the others to go on while he handles the monster, 

Luffy stays to watch him fight.

Loki finishes off the monster with “Niflheim” attack using Ragnir, resulting in the MMA freezing.

Niflheim is the Norse underworld, which is a land of ice and darkness ruled by the goddess of Death and Loki’s daughter, Hel.

So Nidhogg is not only the lightning dragon but also the ice one, in contrast to Kaido’s Seiryu that controls wind, lightning and fire.

Furthermore, ice is Brook’s element, an element tapped from his Yomi Yomi no Mi, which revives the dead.

Brook is also relevant to the Elbaph Arc and now we have an indirect tie-in via Loki’s powers.

From this feat, Luffy is amazed with Loki’s power being demonstrated.

The use of an attack named after the Norse Underworld, the realm of Nidhogg has sealed the deal on the theory that Loki has acquired the powers of Nidhogg.
