We Might Have Found Chopper’s Original Devil Fruit? One Piece Chapter 1183 Early Spoilers!
We might have the name of the Forest God, the one with the power to “tame” Imu’s Demons. Does this mean that Chopper has the very Devil Fruit that will complete his dream of curing all disease?
In the previous One Piece chapter, Killingham unleashes his strongest Nightmare yet, the Rain Goddess Zaza!
One Piece Chapter 1183 is titled, “Good Day Mermaid”
Interesting title, which could be tied to Zaza, who may or may not have a relation to the people of Fishman Island
Color Spread Cover: Straw Hat Crew with Elephants.
Yeah Oda, no more cover story ideas?
Sanji arrives at Giant Village and fights Zaza MMA.
Technically one of the very rare times Sanji fights a woman.
Who is Dozan?
Loki and Ragnir vs. Imu continues.
Imu says Nika and Nidhogg will die, just like Dozan.
Wait, who is Dozan?
This might be a mistranslation but there are a few possible answers.
Dozan might be a reference to Manase Dōsan (1507–1594), a famous Japanese physician during the Sengoku period who founded a school of medicine called Dosan-ryu (Dosan school) that is a pillar of Japanese medicine even to this day.
Furthermore, look at the name.
The surname Manase is geographically rooted and composed of the characters for “winding/crooked” (曲), “straight” (直), and “rapids/current” (瀬). It roughly translates to “the winding and straight currents” or “crooked and straight shallows.
This could also be interpreted as “straightening” paths, as in correcting or curing them like a physician would.
But the big hint here is the name Dōsan, which could be a professional alias because the name is a combination of Dō, which means “path,” “way,” “teaching,” or “doctrine” and San, which means the number “three”.
Combined, it is usually translated as “The Third Path” or “Three Ways of the Path,” which ties into the Buddhist influences of Dosan’s medical practice.
It could also be a hint that Dosan is the THIRD God of the One Piece world revealed.
Luffy would be the first, not only because of the Gear 5 awakening in the Wano arc but because he is the protagonist.
Dragon could be the second God, assuming he has Zaza, who debuted in the previous chapter but also in reference to Dragon appearing at the end of the first ever saga, in the Town of Beginnings and Endings, Loguetown.
Chopper’s predecessor might be Dozan and it is revealed here in the fight against Loki.
This might mean that Dozan is the original Forest God, the one who “tames demons” in the Harley Mural in Chapter 1138.
Judging from all the hints in Chapter 1177: “Furious”, where Chopper one-tapped the Domi Reversi demons and cured them, it might mean that Chopper is on the verge of his awakening.
Into the Forest God Devil Fruit.
And so far, it seems that Imu has been eliminating his God competition.
The Four Gods of One Piece.
Nika the Sun God, embodied in Joy Boy, Imu’s most hated rival.
Zaza, the Rain Goddess, the most feared by the Celestial Dragons.
Dozan, the Forest God, the one killed by Imu for being able to cure all diseases?
And maybe the Davy Clan has the Earth God Devil Fruit, the Yami Yami no Mi.
Oda is about to complete the Four Gods puzzle after 23 years!
And Oda would not just mix up Dozan with Loki’s predecessor, the Elbaph War God, due to the connotations between Dosan, healing, the Third Path and Buddhism.
Brook’s Backstory Revealed!
We get Elbaph’s second flashback mini-arc, which will probably be shorter, and this time, it is for Brook.
And it is thanks to Usopp talking to Brook.
The supposed lead of Elbaph triggers another Straw Hat’s long-awaited second flashback.
I am not making this up.
Anyway.
70 years ago, we meet a 20-year old Brook, whose face we see.
At this time, Princess Shuri, who will eventually become Manmeyer Gunko, is 7 years old.
This means that Gunko is 77 years old and 56 years ago, when she was present for Rocks’ intrusion into Imu’s Room of Flowers in Chapter 1155: “The Rocks Pirates”, Gunko was 21 years old.
Gunko probably remained at that age due to Imu’s Covenant.
Gunko is as old as Garp and the rest of Roger’s generation.
Brook’s Kingdom is called “Esperla”, which is a butchered spelling for a Spanish and Portuguese verb, “esperar”, which means “to hope/wait for it”
Brook was the leader of the Battle Convoy in the Esperia Kingdom.
One day, a gangster tried to attack the queen, but Brook defeated him and the syndicate.
Brook was very famous in the kingdom, but not as famous as the queen.
Her name was Queen Candel, and she was the former leader of the Defense Convoy in the Esperia Kingdom.
Considering a possible pattern, what if Candel was a Manmeyer and that is how Imu was able to reintegrate her into the Celestial Dragons?
This is because Gunko has the blue hair of the Manmeyers, so she should be biologically related to this Celestial Dragon family.
As you can tell, there seems to be a Spanish theme going on just like Dressrosa, another Kingdom that belonged to a member of the First Twenty.
Although Shuri is a Japanese name, Candel and Esperia are Spanish, with Candel being exactly as you think it is, the word “candle”.
But we do not have all the details as of now.
There will be NO BREAK NEXT WEEK
One Piece Chapter 1184 will be released on June 1, 2026.
